Clean and comfortable room with private bathroom. The inn is surprisingly quiet considering how many rooms they have. Walkable location minutes to the beach and various restaurants. The Fundy National Park was just a block away. Wifi is a little slow but that seems to be the theme of the town. Madison the front desk person was very accommodating about my late check in. The only thing I wish they have was a coffee/tea station even in the main lobby.

Cute inn right in the harbour. Gracious and accommodating host. The room was super clean and had a larger than usual fridge. Next to several great restaurants and a short drive to the National park. Note to guests - there is no elevator to the second floor as this is a converted house.

Alma - which according to the town sign is the "Home of the Highest Tides in the World" - is a small tourist/fishing village with a surprisingly large number of accommodation options, restaurants and other services. We chose to stay at the Captain's Inn because of its location (walking distance to the Fundy National Park Visitor Centre), low-ish price (i.e. not inexpensive, but certainly less expensive than most other options in Alma) and unpretentious atmosphere. We were not disappointed. We stayed in early October, and being the only guests that night, we got a room facing the Bay of Fundy. The room was relatively small and dated, but spotlessly clean, with comfortable mattress and pillows, a small en-suite bathroom, wifi, and a TV. The hostess was professional, charming, and went out of her way to accommodated a couple of our unique requests. The Captain's Inn is nothing like a Delta Inn. It's not a big box with long hallways leading to identical rooms. It's an older building with hardwood floors, strange angles and an eclectic decor. There are no dedicated staff on site; we arranged our check-in person-to-person. There's no breakfast (so their website should probably be updated). What you get is character. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we'd readily stay there again.

Bright, clean B&B in the small village of Alma. We stayed in the off season and were in one of only two rooms booked. Picked up our room key at the convenience store/gas station next door that is run by the same owner. Being off season, there was little staff presence in the B&B but a staff member did greet us at the store, check us in, show us to our rooms and around the inn. We knew that if anything came up we could walk to the store, so were not bothered by the lack of staff in the actual inn. Breakfast is self-serve in a shared kitchen. Cereal and other basics were available and we were allowed to keep our own food in the fridge. If you are looking for a traditional served breakfast this place may not be for you, but we actually liked it because we're not super social in the morning. Alma itself is a nice little village. Close to attraction in the bay of fundy area and cool in it's own right - neat little bar/brewery that used to be a church and great restaurants.

Lovely facility. Our hostess is bubbly and welcoming. A quiet, relaxing atmosphere after a day of driving and exploring. Several shops and restaurants within walking distance. Harbour and wharf to wander around. My room was modern and comfortable. A ceiling fan was an effective means of cooling the room. It was easy to forget that there were other guests, as the noise did not carry from nearby rooms. I would recommend this location.
